Kennedy received her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Medicine, and Master of Occupational Therapy from Saginaw Valley State University. She has committed her career to her passion for working with children, working in a variety of settings including in-home early intervention, school settings and clinics. Her experience includes working with children of all ages with a variety of needs and diagnoses. Kennedy has been trained in a variety of evidence practices including behavioral and child led models as well as sensory integration, sensory and motor feeding interventions, and fine and visual motor interventions. She has a passion for playing sports and was a collegiate volleyball player throughout her undergraduate experience. She has also committed herself to creating adaptive sports opportunities for children with difficulties impacting performance. Kennedy has supervised new and aspiring OT students and has a passion for learning and helping others reach their personal goals and true potential.
