Patrick Walls is a dedicated and highly skilled speech therapist, recognized for his unwavering commitment to helping individuals of all ages overcome speech and myofunctional challenges. With a strong educational background and specialized training, he has become a respected professional in the field.
Patrick embarked on his journey in the field of speech therapy by completing his undergraduate studies at San Diego State University. Here, he gained a solid foundation in communication sciences and disorders, setting the stage for his future accomplishments. Building upon this foundation, he further honed his expertise by earning his SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license from Loma Linda University. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Patrick went on to earn a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Baylor University. This advanced education equipped him with an extensive understanding of speech disorders and their treatment.
Patrick’s expertise goes beyond traditional speech therapy, as he is well-versed in treating a multitude of myofunctional disorders. He holds a certification in the Nasal Release Technique, a cutting-edge approach that improves nasal airflow and aids in the treatment of myofunctional disorders. In addition, he has undergone high-level training in Rhinomanometry and Peak Nasal Inspiratory Flow diagnostics and intervention, reflecting his commitment to providing holistic care to his clients.
In addition to his specialization in myofunctional disorders, Patrick is proficient in treating an expansive number of speech-related disorders and syndromes. His diverse skill set extends to speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and cognitive-communication disorders.
